QQUEUE – Virtual queuing room platform for hospitals won the first prize in the application development contest "AIoT Developer InnoWorks 2021"

On September 19, 2021, the Final Round and the Award Announcement Ceremony of the Application Development Contest "AIoT Developer InnoWorks 2021"  was jointly organized online by the Agency for Southern Affaire of Ministry of Science and Technology Vietnam, The university of Sciences – Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City and Advantech Group (Taiwan, China)

In the face of the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, the four member of  Qqueue team from the university of Sciences – Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City, wanted to create a platform that helps patients to easily book appointments and queue at the hospital without needing to waitor spend too much time waiting. QQueue team has focused on 3 main goals: No Passive - No Interruption - No Touch.

On the WISE-PaaS platform, by using the Artificial intelligence (AI) technology, Virtual queuing room platform for hospitals will analyze parameters related to the time to perform the examination process at hospitals, the patient only needs to log in, select the clinic and the time they want to be examined, then the patient can look on the appointment schedule to go to the medical facility without having to wait like before.

“AIoT Developer InnoWorks” is a global program launched and sponsored by Advantech corporation. From the beginning until 2021, this contest has 11 countries participating. This is the second time; Vietnam organizes this contest (the first time is hosted by Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST)

The winners of “AIoT Developer InnoWorks” in different countries will continue to participate in the global talent exchange round in several rotating host countries. They also have chance to join in the global young talent development program in the field of AI and I4.0 named "Elite100". Elite100’s participants have the opportunity to join in Advantech's paid internship program, and directly work in the development of projects of Advantech and its partners around the world.
